the one with all the germs

hello children!

well, i have decided that people never grow up.  not really.  because when you're feeling your sickest, whose name is it that you call?  that's right -- mommy!  and that's what i did.  actually, it was prolly more like a moan and i think that words "come quick" were thrown in there as well.  i was pretty pathetic last week.  however, our wonderful mother took excellent care of me and even took me back to her house to spend the night (fyi meagan- you have an extremely UNcomfortable bed!!).  anyway, a visit to the doctor and three sick days later, i was able to return to work.  of course, i gave all my classes the "i'm still not feeling well so you'd better behave and work with me" speech, which worked for the most part.  jason was wonderful the whole time, bringing me chicken noodle soup (the soup at hand kind that you just microwave) and two dozen red roses to help me feel better.  he also picked me up to take me to his house on friday because i was still pretty tired from being sick and wasn't up to driving.  what a guy.  :)

well, today i was supposed to have my first visit to the "lady" doctor....if you know what i mean.  (boog, if you still don't, well, just skip this part or play along;)  i shaved my legs and everything!  that was after realizing that i hadn't shaved in quite some time last night, i was like, crap! i've got to do that or she won't be pleased at all.  first impressions and such...  well, i get to my appointment (early even!) and they look at me with a funny little smile and say, "dr. deangelis' last day was on friday.  didn't anyone contact you to cancel your appointment?"  i was like  NO and i shaved my legs!!  oh well.  so now, i have to get all mentally prepared again....and shave my legs...sometime in the near future.

ok, well, since i was sick last week, nothing much happened.  i have tuesday and then an early dismissal on wednesday, then it's thanksgiving break!!! woo hoo!!!  i'm definitely looking forward to this :)  i'll let you know how my sweet potato casserole (with marshmallows) turns out!

love you all :)
